Cortney coordinates and teaches several of the eight LEAD courses that serve as the academic foundation of the undergraduate servant leadership program. She also works collaboratively across our campus community to ensure that servant leadership is present in all of our student leadership initiatives. She also oversees the daily operations of the Food Pantry at CSU.
Cortney is a graduate of the undergraduate Servant Leadership Program as well. She
has previously served as the Assistant Director of the Servant Leadership Program
at Columbus State and worked at Brookstone School and in the CSU Athletic Department.
She is a certified Human Behavior Consultant and a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach.
She is certified in two self-assessment tools: DiSC and the Gallup Strengths Assessment.
She is extremely active in the Columbus community, serving on the board of directors for the Columbus State University Alumni Association, the Young Professionals of the Greater Columbus GA Chamber of Commerce, the Keep Columbus Beautiful Commission, the Women United of the Chattahoochee Valley United Way, and is a member of the Junior League of Columbus.
She is a 2017 graduate of the Greater Columbus Georgia Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Columbus.
