Nico Jay Moyer is a U.S. Army Ranger veteran, ordained minister, ultra runner, and certified professional coach based in Columbus, Georgia.

After more than seven years with the elite 75th Ranger Regiment, Nico medically retired and returned to school — ultimately earning multiple degrees including a master‘s in organizational leadership and completing a master‘s in Christian ministry through Mercer University in the summer of 2026.

Today Nico serves as the City Minister at First Baptist Church of Columbus, leading Second Story — an uptown ministry center focused on college students and young adults. He also serves as an adjunct professor at the William B. Turner Center for Servant Leadership and coaches and facilitates for the CSU Leadership Institute.

Nico recently completed the Bootlegger 100-Mile Run — finishing in the top 40 percent of starters in a race with a 50 percent DNF rate.

He is the founder of The Arena — a coaching community built on the belief that the arena of life isn‘t optional, but facing it alone is. Through The Arena, Nico offers coaching, courses, and community for people navigating the real challenges of life.
